Iowa State offers exclusive scholarships for transfer students, awarded based on specific qualifications.

The Expedition Award is automatically awarded to all transfer students who are residents of Illinois or Minnesota.

International merit scholarships are awarded to students who demonstrate exceptional academic performance and outstanding talent or accomplishments.

International first-year students who have been offered admission will be automatically awarded these renewable merit scholarships. These awards are based on high academic achievement, determined by submitted high school GPA and SAT or ACT scores.

Through Iowa State's OneApp scholarship portal, undergraduate students can conveniently apply for multiple scholarships in one place. The Office of Student Financial Aid, academic colleges, departments, and other campus units use the information provided in OneApp to select scholarship recipients.
