Amazon Career Choice at Iowa State University

As an Amazon Career Choice education partner, Iowa State University helps Amazon associates build skills for in‑demand careers at Amazon or elsewhere. Amazon Career Choice offers a wide range of education and upskilling opportunities, including pre‑paid college tuition, industry‑recognized certifications that lead to in‑demand jobs, and foundational learning programs such as English language, GED, and high school completion.

How Career Choice works

  • Prepaid tuition: Amazon pre‑pays tuition and can reimburse books/fees up to an annual maximum. There is no lifetime limit.  Associates access all options through Amazon’s Career Choice website and A to Z.
  • Multiple learning tracks: Career Choice supports college degrees, industry certifications, and foundational learning opportunities, including GED and ESL. 
  • Voucher‑less payment: At Iowa State, Career Choice uses a voucher‑less process. To initiate payment, eligible associates must be admitted and registered for classes.
